1 - Christmas Village 2023
We're proud to share that this holiday season marked our 22nd annual Christmas Village event. The event provides gifts, joy and holiday spirit to children who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. This magical day wouldn't be possible without the support of our local community organizations and families who donate every year. Members of SCSO work tirelessly on this event throughout the year to ensure it's always successful. We hope everyone had a happy holiday season!

4 - Matt Miller and George Pfeil Memorials
The end of December also marks a somber time at the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office as we remember two of our fallen deputies, Matt Miller and George Pfeil. Deputy Miller’s End of Watch came December 26, 2011, while Deputy Pfeil’s was December 29, 1977. We miss both of them dearly and will never forget the ultimate sacrifice they made. Please view the two memorial videos, featuring intimate interviews with family members and other loved ones, to help us honor their memory.
5 - Delivering Holiday Joy
In addition to our Christmas Village, deputies and SCSO Employees got active around the community, delivering toys to the AdventHealth Foundation, teaming up with the Altamonte Springs Police Department to purchase toys with children in Toys’R’Us, visiting them in our schools and more. Check out photos of all these different events below. We hope your New Year is full of as much joy as serving our community brings us.
